Metaphase Spreading
This devise enables anyone to create metaphase spread slides ideal for genomic analysis such as FISH, CGH, or G-banding. It allows consistent specimen preparation of metaphases by controlling the environmental conditions in which the slides are made. Minimising chromosome overlaps in spreads makes analysis easier and more reliable, which streamlines routine work. Improved spreading of chromosomes from difficult tissues such as bone marrows is also possible with this device.

(1) The temperature display: The base block, the wall, and the humidifying water tank are displayed (these have offsets)
(2) A dry level is displayed.
(3) Pipette: 2-200µl tip (5mm in stop part diameter)
(4) Dropping liquid measure: 10µl-30µl
(5) Slide glass: 76.5x26.5(t=0.8-1.2) mm
(6) The slide cassette: Five glass slides can be produced at one time.
